Resorts - Partnerships & Networks

Networking eventOur clients can not always achieve their goals on their own.

They form partnerships, networks or consortia to harness resources and talent, but this also sometimes comes with a steep learning curve. Partners have different motivations, expectations and needs. Plus networks need to be kept fresh, up-to-the-minute and practical. This is perhaps our best kept secret but now it’s out. We know how to develop and sustain effective partnerships and networks – it’s as much perspiration as inspiration and we don’t mind putting in the legwork to make partnerships really work.

From events and conferences to running virtual network websites, Skyblue focuses on getting people talking, sharing experiences and then taking practical action

What's hot?
We provide contracted services to help manage a number of regional or sectoral networks of businesses, public sector, private sector and third sector organisations in a range of specialist areas including skills, employment, education, tourism, culture and mega sporting events. We also get invited to lead networks, chair working groups, provide partnership skills development and action planning as well as promote networks to widen their appeal and membership.
What do our clients tell us they want?

Networks that can help turn ideas into practical action – engaging events; succinct briefings; special projects; task and finish groups with the right people involved; excellent communication and partnership working skills; imagination and technical know how to maximise virtual networks, digital media and technology to keep network costs efficient and vibrant.

What can we do to help?
  • If you are thinking of tendering out to develop a network or refresh the running of your network of partners we have direct experience of all the processes involved from knowing who to and how to recruit members, write terms of reference, engage ‘movers and shakers’, develop practical working groups and action plans and help ensure their implementation
  • Skyblue Creative services include marketing, communication, website development, content management, PR, copy-writing, market research, evaluation, photography, design, event planning and film services – all very valuable added value assets when setting up or sustaining a successful network
  • Sustainability planning, fund or bid-writing can also be useful when developing networks and we have experience of making sure that there will be a legacy from your network or partnership initiative

Who can you ask about our work?

One of the Networks we are most pleased to have been operating since 2007 is the SEE for the 2012 Games Network which has grown to a virtual network of over 600 skills, education and employment professionals determined to make the most of the London 2012 Olympic Games and Paralympic Games. The learning from running this Network has been immense and our skills and expertise greatly amplified that could be used for your benefit.
