What's hot?
We are currently consulting on a number of challenges for clients relating to mega events legacy planning (such as Olympic and Paralympic Games summer and winter editions, Football World Cups and Commonwealth Games); business and skills support consultancy for the creative and cultural sectors; and feasibility studies aimed at developing programmes that will lead to increased participation in sport, active leisure, outdoors recreation, cultural activity and tourism (meeting National Indicators and targets in local area agreements). We also have a passion for disability sport and cultural opportunities and are proud sponsors of a number of innovative charities and initiatives that cannot fail to inspire you.

What do our clients tell us they want?

A team that knows the sport, culture and creative industries inside out and shares their passion for increasing participation; improving quality of life; and delivering practical cultural or sporting activities that work in the front line.

What can we do to help?
  • Consult with the creative and cultural communities, businesses, self employed, freelancers and portfolio workers to involve them directly and meaningfully in local economic or community strategy planning
  • Undertake effective and authoritative sports club and coach surveys to identify ways to support their further growth and professionalisation
  • Collaborate on leading edge ‘legacy’ research with partners who wish to explore this fascinating aspect of mega events planning on the global stage
  • Carry out expert survey work in the hospitality, leisure, travel and tourism sectors having undertaken thousands of interviews in this sector since the millennium exploring myriad issues from business planning and profitability, to product development, to staff training programmes to marketing and promotional strategies
  • We also undertake ‘creative commissions’ for clients, for example we are currently researching the feasibility of creating a regional image library for a consortium of partners who share the ambition to promote their region ‘as one’. So far, over 60,000 images have been retrieved and reviewed

Who can you ask about our work?

In this decade of sport and major events we are finding that our technical experience and knowledge across the cultural domains is proving highly valuable to clients including regional organisations responsible for maximising a legacy for their communities and businesses; economic planning units who are keen to understand more the potential of these sectors in future and to plan investment accordingly; county sports partnerships, national governing bodies of sport and area tourism partnerships who ask us to advise them on their business and strategic planning.
